The Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN) global webinar on disaster risk governance

Avoidable Deaths Network is holding a global webinar on the topic of Disaster Risk Governance, on 12 October 2020, the eve of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction. This webinar will last 2 hours and 45 minutes and will start at 12:00 PM, Monday, 12 October (GMT+1). 

Speakers from UNDP, African Union, International Planned Parenthood Federation South Asia Region Office, as well as academics and practitioners from South Asia, South-East Asia, US and Caribbean Regions, will bring fresh perspectives from their research and practices on disaster risk governance, identify the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for the Sendai Framework’s Global Target E, at the interface with Target A (reducing disaster deaths).
