Seminar-workshop: "Empowering the Next Generation for a Resilient Future"

A seminar-workshop, "Empowering the Next Generation for a Resilient Future," will take place on October 20, 2024, at Miftahus Salam Integrated Academy in Lanao del Sur.

A total of 158 students from Grades 7 to 10 will participate at the activities, which were designed to provide them with crucial skills for disaster preparedness. Grade 7 and Grade 8 students will focus on disaster preparedness, finding ways to protect their communities from floods, extreme heat, and human-made hazards.

In addtion, Grade 9 and Grade 10 students will practice fire drill simulations, learning life-saving techniques for emergencies. The program will also include discussions on environmental challenges and hands-on workshops aimed at equipping the students with knowledge to protect their communities and schools.
