Partnership for the Framework 2030: Creating an Enabling Environment for Cooperation to Support Developing Countries

The Sendai Framework has seven strategic targets and 38 indicators for measuring progress on reducing disaster risk and losses. These indicators align the implementation of the Sendai Framework with the implementation of the SDGs and the Paris Agreement on climate change. The target spotlighted for 2021 is Target F: “Substantially enhance international cooperation to developing countries through adequate and sustainable support to complement their national actions for implementation of the present Framework by 2030.”

OBJECTIVES OF THE WEBINAR

  • To discuss the current state of international cooperation in DRR;
  • To analyze the global monitoring for Target F and its indicators;
  • To identify cooperation success stories and how this can be replicated to scale for impact;
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen North-South and South-South cooperation.
