In alignment with this year's international theme, the Family and Community Resilience Fair will highlight education's role in protecting and empowering youth for a disaster-free future. It also emphasizes that empowered children and youth become agents of change for more resilient. The theme "Game On, Kabataan! Build a Future-Ready and More Resilient Makati with #ResilientNextGenMakatizens" highlights the need for dynamic and interactive methods to engage #NextGenMakatizens in DRR.

The Fair will also officially launched the games developed by teachers and students designed to prepare children and youth for any type of disasters that may happen in the city. This is part of the city's project for Creative DRR Education in partnership with PlusArts NPO and CityNet PlusArts in Japan.
