On the occasion of the International Day for the Reduction of the Risk of Natural Disasters, founded in 1989 at the behest of the General Assembly of the United Nations, a seminar will be held on the prevention of risks in places that preserve cultural heritage (museums, archives, libraries, etc.). The day will be divided into two parts: during the morning, several eminent experts in the field will hold technical-training interventions and expose case studies specific to the field of cultural heritage; in the afternoon, in the outer space of the ISA, a practical archive rescue exercise will be carried out, emulating a flooding, an emergency situation that often those who work in the archives are faced with.
