This event, on the occasion of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, will show the responses to the form submitted to all women and girls in Latin America and the Caribbean who wished to join the Network of Women for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean.

Disasters affect women and girls differently than men and boys. Moreover, women and girls have also proven to be important agents of change and drivers of disaster risk reduction. Therefore, this initiative aims to bring together women and girls from the region to share experiences and exchange ideas.
