Celebration of International Day of Disaster Risk Reduction in Bhbaneswar, India

Like other years, on the Eve of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, UDYAMA will celebrate the 13th of October 2024, in association with Sports & Culture Association Kalingavihar, Youth4water Plus, led by UNICEF.

The theme for this year is: “Empowering the Next Generation for a Resilient Future,” focusing on the role of education in protecting and empowering youth for a disaster-free future.

There will be community interaction among participants, followed by presentations from social media, films, videos, and presentations on various disasters happening around the globe, along with local news and media channels.
